DreamWall wins at the Broadcast Production Awards

NewsCast Studio, the reference publication in audiovisual creation, organises the annual "Broadcast Production Awards" as part of the NAB Show. This competition recognises the best audiovisual creation and technical production products. This year, Charleroi-based animation studio, DreamWall, won several awards.

The NAB show, the international broadcast show that takes place every year in Las Vegas, was cancelled this year because of COVID-19 but the contest still went ahead online.

DreamWall had submitted several projects produced in 2019 under 15 different sections.

In their flagship category, "Augmented Reality & Virtual Reality Design", they took first and second place in the "Sports" section, with Téléfoot (TF1) and Europe des Onze (BeTv) respectively. This was also the category that received the most applications: https://www.broadcastproductionawards.com/winners/1109/

DreamWall also took first place in the "Entertainment" section in the same category with the augmented reality created for the Esport Championship CSGO.

In the same category, DreamWall also received a special mention in the "News" section due to the augmented reality and virtual environment created for the European Parliamentary elections.

Finally, DreamWall had also submitted projects in the "Set Design" category, which recognises all types of TV sets (real and virtual). Once again, they left with two special mentions: one in the "Sport" section, for the set created for RTBF's Europa League and another in the "Special Event" section, for the set created for TF1's Rugby World Cup.

Great international recognition for Marcinelle's animation studio as it rubbed shoulders with the biggest names in the audiovisual market including the BBC, NBC, ABC, CNN, CCTV and many others.
