Recognized for their capacity of innovation, the Walloon companies are more and more involved in the framework of major sporting events. For example, numerous cutting edge technologies developed in Wallonia will  be used during the Football World Cup in Brazil. Let us take a closer look at PRODILED, based in Héppignies.

PRODILED, European leader in the field of giant LED screens, specialises in manufacturing, sales and leasing of screens, screen trailers and provision of boarding for stadia and scoreboards (football, basketball, etc.).

PRODILED has won the coveted contract for the World Cup closing ceremony and will provide the screens for this highlight event.

The company, based near Fleurus, has also designed a giant, 200-square-metre screen in a shape never, ever seen before, which will be erected in the centre of the pitch for the opening ceremony in São Paulo on 12 June. This show will be watched by 1.6 million television viewers.

PRODILED has already supplied the stadium in Anderlecht and the Vuitton shop in Monaco. So now, the World Cup will really attract an international audience.
