Pairi Daiza picked up 6 awards at the Diamond Theme Park Awards, the ceremony of which took place in the Netherlands and which recognises the best Belgian and Dutch parks. Walibi received the award for the Best Amusement Park in Belgium, the Most Sensational Park and was recognised for its Halloween event.
Pairi Daiza left with even more accolades, with 6 awards including that for Best Zoo in Belgium and the Netherlands, the Most Beautiful Park in both countries, the Most Beautiful Animal Exhibit for its Tiger Temple and the Best Show for its birds of prey exhibition. It also won the Best Food and Beverage award and the e-award (both for Belgium alone).
